CAP Monitor takes a shine to A3

CAP Monitor is predicting healthy residual values for Audi's new small car - the A3. The used market experts place the three-door hatch third in its sector behind the BMW Compact and Volkswagen Golf GTi with a three year/60,000 used value of 45% of its list price.

Audi launched the A3 to an enthusiastic reception from the corporate market in a series of track days earlier this month. The car is expected to have wide appeal to young user-choosers but UK availability will be restricted to 5,000 units a year.
