BCH Vehicle Management has held a special safety course for ten nurses who specialise in Parkinson's Disease patient care.

The nurses are part of a research project which is the largest study of people with Parkinson's Disease in the world. Bristol-based BCH's course was designed to provide comprehensive information and advice on how to minimise the risks of driving alone.

This is a necessity to the nurses who treat patients in the community or in their own homes. In addition a Ford Escort 1.4 LX to help support the project was handed over to nurse manager Jane Stewart by BCH.
