SOFTWARE company Kinesis Systems has handed over the management of its 30-strong fleet to Fleetlease and expects to cut operating costs by thousands of pounds a year.

Until signing the deal the Swindon-based company, which expects its fleet size to double over the next year, was using several companies for contract hire. However, fears that controls were not in place led to Fleetlease being invited to review the fleet and, as a result of changes, the company expects to save around £20,000 a year.

Fleetlease senior sales executive Mark Taggart said a vehicle management package had been specifically created for Kinesis. Apart from contract hire, Fleetlease will also be providing a fleet management, maintenance and disposal service for all purchased and HP cars.
