LEX Corporate Sales has appointed Paul Roberts as director of its key fleet sales division. Roberts, who has acted as caretaker in the role for the last two months, fills the vacancy created by the departure of Gary Spellins, who left to join GE Capital in May.

Roberts has already brought in fresh members to supplement the corporate sales team with the appointment of three new regional general managers - Claudia John and Phil Murray in the south and Tony Bell in the north.

Since restructuring last year, Lex is reporting positive feedback from major clients who like the new 'one-stop-shop' approach which provides 500-plus fleet customers with transport solutions including vehicles, fleet management and finance. More than 6,000 vehicles were supplied via corporate sales in the year to June with recent contract wins including a £21 million deal with the Davis Service Group.
