VOLKSWAGEN has reorganised its fleet department as the manufacturer's company car sales continue to soar to record levels. Although there are no changes in personnel and the fleet department still numbers 25 people, Volkswagen fleet chief Vince Kinner becomes head of fleet with responsibility for the fleet development programme reflecting the importance that Volkswagen places on developing its dealers to match the needs of fleet customers.

Bernard Bradley moves from being fleet marketing manager to national fleet sales manager. He will be in charge of the fleet sales team which will allow the co-ordination of activities between all Volkswagen customers and provide a greater consistency of approach.

John Mahony, a former area and regional fleet sales manager, takes up the new role of major accounts manager. He will report to Bradley, as will the existing team of leasing and rental managers and area managers which remained unchanged. Bradley's previous position is filled by Chris Hawken who will be responsible for direct mail, advertising, public relations and events. Peter Milner continues as fleet operations manager with responsibility for the day-to-day running of the department. The existing team of fleet development managers will also report to Kinner.
