Nationwide merges with TCG

NATIONWIDE Autoglazing is to merge with Canadian company TCG International Inc. Essex-based Nationwide currently has a network of 74 corporate and franchised operations spanning the UK. Managing director Tom Hales said there were no immediate plans to expand that coverage. The company is, however, hoping to increase its fleet business which currently accounts for around 45% of its work.

TCGI, directly and through its subsidiaries, controls more than 2,000 corporate, franchised and owner-operated locations in 34 countries around the world including mainland Europe and North America. It owns Novus Inc, the world market leader in windscreen repair, and has extensive interests in manufacturing and glass distribution.
