DIAL has announced details of two major deals, representing a total of 600 vehicles. The leasing company has been awarded contracts to finance and manage Corporate Express UK's fleet of 300 vehicles, as well as half of Graham Group's 600-strong fleet. Office stationary supplier Corporate Express has opted for contract hire with maintenance through Dial for its car and van fleet. Following a series of acquisitions, Corporate Express had been using 16 suppliers.

Dial will provide fleet management services for the company's existing vehicles on non-maintenance contracts. Corporate Express is also taking on Dial Link management reporting software and is now discussing a further range of initiatives, such as accident management and fuel cards. Dial has also announced an agreement with building merchant Graham Group. This sees Dial appointed to finance and manage 300 vehicles, with Hertz Leasing continuing to handle the remaining 300.

Dial's section of the fleet was previously outright purchased by Graham Group, but will now be financed using a combination of contract purchase for high value vehicles and contract hire with maintenance and breakdown recovery for other models. Under the agreement 120 vehicles were immediately ordered, with Dial disposing of the old vehicles.
