Vauxhall lines up revised Vectra and Astra saloon

THE heavily-revised Vectra will enter the showrooms in March boasting 1,800 changes and offering 1.6-litre, 1.8-litre, 2.0-litre and 2.5-litre V6 options along with exterior and interior styling changes. Dealers will hold information and issue ordering guides from January 8.

Adding to the manufacturer's line-up will be the new Astra saloon, featuring a 460-litre boot and offered with the same three petrol and diesel options available on the hatchback with prices starting at just over £12,000.

In May, fleets will see the launch of the Zafira MPV, powered by 1.6-litre, 1.8-litre and the 2.0-litre diesel engine already used in the Vectra and the Astra. During the year, the Omega is also expected to be given a revamp and a new 2.5-litre LPG version will be launched.
