John Cullum, president of Cendant Business Answers, said the changes were designed to bring the company's IT and operational functions closer to its sales activity so that it delivers what it sells. Strategic marketing director Rosemary Wells has been charged with ensuring that the company's network of suppliers is aligned with the needs of Cendant's different businesses and their customers. The strategy is based on the premise that if suppliers are happy with their relationship with Cendant then they will offer a better service to PHH's customers, and is the final stage in the company's longer term policy of improving customer loyalty.
