BCA claims record traffic for internet auction site

BCA is claiming its online Auction View service has received a record number of hits as customers try to keep up-to-date with rapidly moving prices.

Tom Madden, BCA customer affairs director, said: 'Accurate valuations ensure that vehicles enter the market in line with current sentiment and - when properly prepared - have every opportunity to sell the first time they are offered. When residuals are under pressure, it is vital to sell vehicles swiftly and efficiently and the information provided by Auction View is a formidable asset in achieving this goal.

'BCA customers can stay close to the market by accessing the exclusive on-line Auction View service, that gives the latest up-to-date valuations for a huge range of stock.

'Over recent weeks we have logged record numbers of hits on our Auction View site, as customers check the latest composite valuations, while buyers access the online stock locator and catalogues to source the very best vehicles.'

Auction View's auction composite prices are updated daily, on a rolling 30-day average, with mileage-adjusted CAP and Glass's comparative information also displayed concurrently. Click here to visit the BCA website.
