Vectras for rapid response 999 duty

VAUXHALL has supplied Sussex Ambulance Service with eight new Vectras to be converted to rapid response vehicles. The order has subsequently led to 27 rapid response vehicles being purchased by other ambulance services in the south-east.

Jim Clark of Sussex Ambulance said: 'Not only have the Vectras proved reliable, but they also suit the particular conversions required.' Goole-based Oughtred and Harrison Facilities will be responsible for the conversions.
