THE Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents has joined forces with Honda to improve the safety of company car drivers.

Fleets signing up for defensive driver training with Honda MAC (Motor Appreciation Courses), will be offered RoSPA's training and consultancy package.

This includes RoSPA's initiative to address occupational road risk - effectively a health check for fleets that includes the development of a safety management programme.

Bob McMillan, head of Honda MAC, said: 'Combining RoSPA's expertise in the field of risk assessment with Honda MAC's driver training service will enable us to offer the most comprehensive and effective fleet safety programme.'
