Electronic remarketing company AutoCascade - which plans to be operational in five key European countries within three years - is using new 'state-of-the-art' internet-based vehicle programmes.

Developed by UK-based Nexus Business Solutions, the two programs are set, say their creator, 'to change the way companies manage and dispose of their vehicles'.

Auctron Bid is described as an 'advanced interactive online vehicle auction like no other currently available'.

And Auctron Find, the company adds, 'is an intelligent business-to-business vehicle locator and electronic tendering system that allows dealers to buy vehicles 24 hours a day, 365 days a year without leaving their desks'.

AutoCascade will be among the first to use both Nexus products and will offer its customers a system that uses both products in harness.

'As well as improving returns on disposals, AutoCascade will offer dealers rapid low-cost access to a wide range of pre-owned vehicles', Nexus said. (December 2001)
