Land Rover opts for Britain

LAND Rover has decided that Britain is the best place to build its new model. The firm will build its Land Rover Discovery, due mid-decade, at its Solihull plant. About £200 million has been invested in the all-new production line that will build the flagship model.

The news marks the start of a five-year £2.5 billion cash injection by Land Rover in to developing and building new vehicles.
