Opt-out growth

PRIVILEGE Insurance says it has noticed drivers are opting out of upper- medium models such as Ford Mondeos and Renault Lagunas, and using the cash to buy two-year-old premium models, including BMW 5-series and Audi TTs.

Privilege Insurance business manager Catherine Alty said: 'We are witnessing a trend that suggests more motorists are driving the cars of their dreams by opting out of restricting company car practices and purchasing used prestige models, without spending any additional cash.'
