DIESEL power has returned to the Mitsubishi Carisma range offering company car drivers another low-tax option in the line-up.

Derived from a Renault unit the 100bhp 1.9 litre common rail engine produces 146g of carbon dioxide per kilometre and falls into the lowest BIK tax band for diesels at 18%. Available in Mirage trim, the Carisma 1.9 DI-D is priced at £10,995 on-the-road and has a combined fuel consumption figure of 51.4mpg. The Carisma is already available with a low-emission direct injection petrol engine.
