Toyota and Lexus triumph in JD Power survey

TOYOTA and sister-brand Lexus have posted impressive scores in the latest JD Power survey on customer satisfaction with three cars in the top 10.

The survey of 144 V and W registered models covers quality and appeal as well as dealer service and ownership costs and this year ranked vehicles in sectors as well as in an overall league table.

Lexus picked up the manufacturer gold award, followed by Toyota and Skoda. Renault was judged the most improved manufacturer. The Toyota Yaris was the highest placed car and was the only car to appear in the top 10 of every judging criteria category.

It was also one of five cars in this year's top 10 that also featured in last year's top 10.
