Autologistics makes senior appointment

LOGISTICS company Richard Lawson Autologistics has appointed Frank Straetmans as director, sales and marketing, Europe.

Previously general manager of the company's specialist Evolution division, Straetmans now has responsibility for commercial activities in Benelux, France, Germany, Poland, Spain and the UK.

Last year, Straetmans masterminded the development of a new automotive logistics product called Evolution2, a dedicated dealer-dealer delivery service.

The Belgian national joined parent company Wallenius Wilhelmsen as business development in 2000. He has extensive experience in South America, the Far East and Continental Europe where he implemented new outbound logistics concepts for a number of automotive companies, the company said.
