VCM 4u has been created for customers of the group's fleet management, contract hire and leasing arm and allows them to access information through the internet. The fully-automated system holds all details about the account, from named drivers for each car, through direct debit payment dates to the security code for each vehicle's stereo system. It holds information on 500 vehicles run by VCM clients nationwide.
Following registration, they gain access to the site using a password.
VCM operations director, Mike Roe, said: 'VCM 4u allows clients instant access to their accounts so they can carry out a number of functions at their convenience.'
The system also allows VCM account managers to reach their clients with a messaging system that warns of vehicle recalls, MoT due dates, excess mileages or an imminent contract expiry date.
