CAP has announced plans for a reorganisation to bring it closer to customers with a direct telephone link to used value experts.

CAP says the initiative is part of its plans to improve customer relations. Rupert Keane, sales and marketing director at CAP, added: 'In today's market it is no longer enough to simply offer a current used values guide from a stand tucked away in the corner of a busy auction hall.

'We have responded to demand for instant information, better handling of enquiries from trade buyers and vendors, and the most efficient handling of our auction customers. 'The new strategy involves a more visible CAP presence and direct telephone access to our whole range of services.'
