Smartnav system gets smarter

SATELLITE navigation provider Smartnav has launched two new products. Safe Speed, which alerts drivers they are approaching an area with speed cameras, can be installed for £6 a month.

A Stolen Vehicle Location package, available for £8 a month plus a £100 software fee, acts as a vehicle tracker and alerts police of a vehicle's location and movements. Both products are used in conjunction with the Smartnav satellite navigation system costing £499 plus £120 for connection and subscription.
