SIX Iveco Daily 50C11s have been fitted with chemical suits, tents and decontamination showers for Surrey Ambulance Service to deal with terrorist attacks and emergencies.

The vans will be used in major incidents including chemical, biological, radioactive and nuclear threats as well as plane crashes and motorway accidents.

Craig Marriott, emergency planning officer at Surrey Ambulance service, said: 'We opted to base the fleet entirely on the Daily as it offers the best payload and volume capacity in its class.'
