New face of the war against terror

IT may resemble the latest weapon in the war against late delivery of milk but in fact this is part of the battle against global terrorism.

The Mega diesel van is being used by the Police National CBRN (Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear) at its training centre near Salisbury.

Hampshire Police fleet manager John Bradley said: ‘When we were asked to find an environmentally friendly, economical light utility vehicle for use at the CBRN Training Centre, the Mega seemed right for the task.’

The vehicle is built by specialist builder Aixam in France.
