THE new Ford Focus C-MAX headlined at a BCA Measham Ford sale which raised more than £1.5 million.

The sale, which attracted almost 100 buyers, was also completed online by 20 bidders and saw 170 vehicles achieving 94% conversion over 100% CAP clean.

Chris Shambrook, auction manager at Ford, said: 'This was an excellent sale with strong bidding across the board. The Focus C-Max took pride of place, but there were strong supporting roles for the new Focus. Prices were strong and overall performance in excess of CAP clean confirmed our own high residual value expectations.'

The Focus C-Max averaged 112% CAP clean, 03/53 registrations with around 5,000 miles on the clock averaging £11,350.

The Ford Ka also achieved high conversion rates. A 03/03 SportKa 1.6 with 3,000 miles achieved £8,600, equivalent to 121% CAP clean. A 03/03 StreetKa 1.6 Luxury sold for £10,350, 104% CAP clean.
