TOUR operator Titan Travel has taken on 30 new Volkswagen Caravelles, bringing the total number on its fleet to 160.

The vehicles are driven by uniformed chauffeurs and used to transport passengers to and from airports.

Titan Travel fleet manager Jayne Marchetti said: 'The new Caravelle is bigger, even more fuel-efficient and takes passenger comfort to a new level in the MPV class.'

A plus point is that the vehicle's rear seats and multi-functional table can be moved along a rail system or removed.
