FLEETS that source their vehicles from Alphabet and need roadside assistance will be serviced by RAC Business Solutions.

The two companies have signed a 12-month contract, covering 20,000 vehicles run by the fleet finance company covering drivers for UK and European roadside and recovery assistance.

Alphabet support services manager Keith Jones said: 'The motivation for change was a better service, added flexibility and price – and RAC demonstrated all of these factors, as well as showing us it had a good knowledge of the differences between corporate and personal customers.'

John Ascroft, head of RAC Fleet Services, said: 'Our business range continues to grow, but roadside is our core business and every effort is made to ensure it keeps its sterling reputation.'
