KWIK-FIT Fleet has announced plans to expand its call centre after fleets signing up to its tyre management programme have almost tripled.

The group is now responsible for 750,000 vehicles and is taking on 30 additional staff to cope with demand.

Dave Thorpe, call centre operations manager at Kwik-Fit Fleet, said: 'Almost all of the call centre's work is based around providing a range of services that have been outsourced by many of Britain's largest contract hire and leasing companies.

'I will be working with those companies to further develop a range of new initiatives that can be delivered through the Kwik-Fit Fleet call centre to help further reduce fleet operating costs and provide efficiency savings for leasing companies, their fleet customers and corporate drivers.'

Kwik-Fit Fleet has also completed a £100,000 refurbishment programme of its call centre.
