Tuskerdirect is best known for its award winning, web-based leasing and fleet management system, Fleet Desk. It was the first company in the UK to harness the Internet to relieve the burden of administration faced by today's fleet manager.

Whilst other systems are still in their infancy, Tuskerdirect's online solutions have been extensively tested and refined over a number of years to reach unsurpassed levels in the fleet market.

The use of such groundbreaking technology helps reduce Tuskerdirect's overheads and drives down its costs, generating savings it pass directly on to its clients, while the accuracy and efficiency of its own internal procedures, allows the company to deliver unrivalled levels of personalised customer service.

Attendo signs new deal with Tuskerdirect

ATTENDO Systems has chosen online leasing and fleet management specialist Tuskerdirect as preferred solus supplier for the provision of its company cars and vans, because of the high levels of customer service that Tuskerdirect provides.

Rotherham, Yorkshire-based Attendo, which develops and markets products and services within the social alarm and communications industry, operates a Nissan solus badge fleet of 65 cars and vans, mainly Primera 1.8S five door hatchbacks as they are manufactured in Britain.

Attendo Systems Payroll and HR manager Claire Crossland said: " We really appreciate the high levels of customer service that Tuskerdirect provides us with compared to our previous supplier.

"Tuskerdirect supplies us with a dedicated account manager and a completely personalised service. We are definitely a name and not a number to them, and the improvement in service has been outstanding," she said.

Under the new contract Tuskerdirect will supply added value services including a 24-hour dedicated helpline number for Attendo drivers on which they can book servicing, breakdown and recovery, and order replacement tyres.

Tuskerdirect, which was the first leasing company in the UK to set up an internet-based fleet management tool with online capability to dynamically price and fully specify vehicles, will also provide replacement vehicles through preferred daily rental companies Enterprise Rent-A-Car and National Car Rental.

New enhancements for Fleet Desk

Tuskerdirect, the fastest growing independent contract hire and fleet management service provider in the UK, has further enhanced its internet-driven fleet management system, Fleet Desk.

The award-winning system now has the ability to add a variety of operating costs to existing contract hire rates, allowing fleet managers to see the total cost of ownership of the vehicles they are running on the fleet.

The increased functionality allows the major costs of vehicle operation - maintenance, fuel, and insurance - to be added to the effective rental for any car on the Fleet Desk system, and allows fleet managers to set benchmark rentals for vehicles their drivers can select based on the complete cost picture of the vehicle, rather than just its monthly rental.

"We have introduced the capability to view the total cost of ownership to the Fleet Desk system because our users have asked for this extra dimension," said Tuskerdirect sales and marketing director David Hosking.

"Now fleet managers can see the true costs to the business of the cars they are running, and may feel compelled to exclude certain types of vehicle because of their total costs of ownership, whereas before, based simply on their monthly rental rates, they may have been deemed acceptable," he said.

Another benefit of the Fleet Desk system is that it can automatically handle any customer-specific support terms from vehicle manufacturers, and these can either be treated as direct cash rebates to the customer or used to reduce the monthly rental.
