Sat-nav deal

SOCIAL housing maintenance provider Mears has fitted satellite tracking to its service fleet of 75 vehicles.

The firm, which operates in the north west of England, has installed Masternaut to improve response times and protect lone workers. It will give real time information on the whereabouts of its 100 staff members, via the web, and alerts control staff to call operatives if their safety is of concern.
