TYRE firm ATS Euromaster has launched a new online system that aims to provide greater control of spending for its commercial customers.

The company hopes its clients will be able to use the system to better manage costs and speed up tyre maintenance, reducing time lost through driver downtime.

The system lets ATS staff instantly verify a customer’s tyre-management policy, pre-validate all work needed and confirm authorisation before the work is carried out. ATS Euromaster group managing director Nick Gregg said: ‘Traditionally, authorisation for work has been carried out over the phone. This could mean delays while the authoriser was being located.

‘Our online pre-validation system removes those barriers.’
