Lotus introduces new models

LOTUS has released details of its 2006 model year Elise and Exige ranges, both of which are on sale now.

As well as the introduction of lighter weight components, airbags, traction control and a limited slip differential, Lotus has also introduced a new seat system, called Pro-Bax, which is claimed not only to provide more comfort but also to promote alertness and improve posture.

Prices start at £27,995 for the Elise and £29,995 for the Exige. Both are powered by a Toyota-sourced 1.8-litre engine offering 189bhp.
