ACCIDENT management firm Helphire Group has announced its results for the first half of the current financial year.

Revenue was up 76% to £76.5 million, while gross profit rose 71% to £32.9 million. Chief executive Mark Jackson said: ‘This has been a tremendously satisfactory period.’

He said its legal expenses insurance subsidy Albany had been trading ahead of expectations and that Swift Rentacar had already demonstrated its worth. He added: ‘In November, the company recorded over 6,000 hires for the first time.’
