ACFO campaign to tempt small fleets

THE Association of Car Fleet Operators (ACFO) is targeting small companies as part of a recruitment drive.

Membership of the association, which represents car and van fleet operators, was at an all-time high of 850 fleet decision-makers and industry suppliers, responsible for 650,000 vehicles, prior to the 2005 subscription renewal.

Chairman Tony Leigh said: ‘We are targeting smaller fleets with a new marketing drive. We have to convince people that time spent out of the office networking with industry colleagues and gathering best practice information is not time lost, but time well spent.

‘We aim to develop the association and maintain it as the voice of fleet operators in every corner of the industry.’
