MG Rover’s AA scheme to end

FLEETS are being warned that MG Rover Assistance, provided by the manufacturer and supported by the AA, will end during the middle of August.

MG Rover provided 12 months’ UK breakdown assistance with all new vehicles and AA officials are striving to ensure that those affected are made aware of the change by contacting all customers.

Companies that have existing AA account managers should contact them directly if they have any enquiries or fleet managers can ring freephone number 0800 55 11 88 for more details.

David Wallace, director of AA Business Services said: ‘We are very keen to help those businesses affected in whatever way we can. It is regrettable that this service cannot continue, but we are more than happy to support fleets by giving them advice on the options open to them and, if requested, by providing alternative cover.’
