BUILDING contractor MPG Contracts has signed a sole supply, sale and leaseback deal with DaimlerChrysler Fleet Management.

MPG expects its fleet to double in size over the next five years. The vehicles are being provided for MPG Contracts, which deals in dry-lining and interior fit-outs, as well as its subsidiaries MPG Facades (exterior cladding and rendering) and Universal Sky Platforms (access platform rental).

Frank Silvester, finance director of MPG Contracts, said: ‘Now our costs are fixed and we do not carry the risks of vehicle depreciation and rising charges.’
