V8s are here

THE first of Ford’s new V8 diesel engines has rolled off the production line at Dagenham.

It is a 3.6-litre unit with twin turbochargers producing more than 270bhp and torque in excess of 470lb-ft. It will find its way into future Ford products, such as the Range Rover and Jaguar XJ.
