Around 230 of the firm’s 670 UK centres are equipped to undertake services on all makes of vehicle and 250 more centres will be so by the end of the year.
The decision to make the service available to fleets follows a long retail pilot scheme. Kwik-Fit expects its current level of MoTs and services – 11,000 and 6,000 a week respectively – to rise dramatically as fleets take advantage. Kwik-Fit Fleet sales director Nigel Davies said the decision was due to corporate demand.
‘Time is money and for that reason fleets want a fast and efficient service that is convenient for their company car and van drivers,’ he said.
‘Our seven-day-a-week opening and our ability to offer an MoT and service within typically four days of booking, rather than the 14 days of most franchised dealers, makes our expansion into this sector very attractive to fleets.’
