Camera trial

TRANSPORT officials in London are trialling the use of two forward-facing speed cameras in a bid to prevent speeding drivers from avoiding penalty points.

The cameras take a digital image of the front of the car at the same time as a traditional speed camera takes an image from the rear. They are based on Upper Thames Street in Central London.
