Mega joins the UK’s LCV fray

A new electric van has been launched in the UK with a price of £8,998.

The Mega City Enterprise is all-electric with two seats, a 40 mph top speed and a typical range of up to 40 miles.

Payload is 305kg including the driver.

Being zero-emissions it is exempt from road tax and congestion charge and can park for free in a locations in London.

The van is made by the Nice Car Company.

Evert Guertsen, co-founder of Nice Car Company, said: “We’ve developed the Enterprise specifically for businesses looking to provide emission-free delivery for their customers.

“The result is a spacious, trendy work van which offers a number of other practical cost-saving benefits for businesses large and small.”
