Biofuel power

SAAB is set to unveil a concept performance 9-5 that produces 300bhp and runs on pure bioethanol.

The Biopower 100 Concept will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show next month. Saab claims the car’s turbocharged 2.0-litre engine can produce the same power as a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre unit, thanks the use of high-octane E100 fuel.
