LEASING company Alphabet has issued a free guide explaining forthcoming new penalties on the use of mobile phones while driving.

From February 27, motorists caught using a handheld phone while driving are liable for three penalty points and a £60 fine. Employers can obtain free copies for their drivers, in hard copy or PDF format, by calling 0870 5050100.
