A review of low-carbon cars is calling for fleets to make their feelings known on how to reduce emissions.

Professor Julia King has been tasked by chancellor Gordon Brown to investigate the options for reducing emissions from road transport over the next 25 years. She said:

“The reduction of CO2 emissions from road transport is likely to be one of the most significant challenges in meeting our environmental ambitions and tackling climate change. We are therefore keen to obtain a wide range of inputs to support our review of this critical area.
