Describe your fleet
We have 52 cars. It is a complete user-chooser policy and predominant makes are Audi, BMW, Honda and Volkswagen.

How did you get into working in fleet?
I was in local government accountancy when the fleet administrator resigned and I decided to apply for the job. Before I could do so, my manager said the job was moving into our department and was I interested….

Would you recommend a career in fleet?
Definitely. I love my job, despite the occasional drawbacks. You meet so many nice people from all sides of the industry.

What is your favourite aspect of the job?
The variety and the hands-on part. I enjoy the liaison I have between drivers and suppliers. Each day is full of new challenges and surprises.

And your least favourite?
Apart from awkward drivers, probably too much legislation. Then there’s the filing...

What is your favourite holiday destination?
I haven’t found it yet – I have enjoyed my skiing holidays wherever they were.
