New boss for Fleet News

Bauer Automotive, publisher of Fleet News, has appointed Ian Richardson as general manager of its business-to-business division.

Bauer Automotive B2B comprises Fleet News, AM magazine and Sewells data and research service. Bauer Automotive Cars managing director Ed Kenyon has handed control of B2B to Mr Richardson but will continue to manage the group’s consumer car brands.

The appointment marks a return to Fleet News, AM and Sewells for Mr Richardson.

He has previously held the positions of publishing director and sales director of the division.

Asked about his plans for Fleet News, Mr Richardson said: “The Fleet News media brand continues to play a vital role in providing high-quality information for fleet decision-makers and the industry across its print, online, events and research businesses.

“I very much look forward to working with our readers and reacquainting myself with our advertisers to provide content, data and networking opportunities that proves indispensable.”
