RNLI's electric lifesaver

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) has taken delivery of an electric Mega Multitrucks van, which will be used by RNLI staff at its headquarters in Poole, Dorset.

The van will replace older diesel vans.

The electric versions are exempt from road tax and are also eligible for a range of other benefits such as exemption from the London Congestion Charge, and free or reduced price parking in some towns and cities.
