Linda Jackson took over from Gary Savage on July 1 after his surprise move to head Mercedes-Benz’s UK operation, replacing Dermot Kelly. Savage had been at Citroen for just a year.

As a result, the tenor of Jackson’s message will be one of new management stability.

She said: “With any senior management changes there is uncertainty, particularly when the move is unexpected and I recognise we had an MD who left after a fairly short period. But it’s important to stress that much of the remaining management team has been stable.”

Jackson will also be highlighting to fleets Citroen’s business sector programme. It has seen the establishment of 90 corporate business centres in its dealer network, a programme completed two months ago.

High on her agenda will be new product such as the C4 available from January - with fleet expected to take up to 60% of volumes - and C-Zero, the zero emission and fuel consumption electric vehicle coming before the end of 2010 and expected to be popular with police and utility companies.
