Fleet software provider Mycompanyfleet is extending its grey fleet roadshows into May, following the success of the series of free events it has been running across the country since mid-March aimed at helping companies tackle the problems associated with grey fleet drivers.

The 90-minute roadshows, which are free to fleet decision makers to attend, demonstrate how the key issues involving grey fleet drivers can be addressed, especially those of verifying vehicle condition, servicing and business mileage.

Leading fleet experts including Mycompanyfleet business manager, Andrew Leech, will be on hand to answer any grey fleet issues that arise. In addition, every roadshow attendee will receive a special copy of a definitive Health and Safety policy document for grey fleet drivers.

Mycompanyfleet, launched its intuitive Driver Self-Serve web portal at the end of last year to address the issues involving grey fleet drivers, including duty of care, mileage authentication and vehicle condition validation.

Driver Self-Serve not only provides a clear audit trail but also reduces the amount of administration time for managers, as drivers have to enter their mileage and service history details online themselves.

Leech commented: “We have been very heartened by the response from fleet decision makers to our grey fleet seminars and have decided to extend the series across the country until the end of May.”
