Qi Van Systems has announced a massive investment and expansion plan to double the size of its current factory and treble the capacity for its fleet vehicle conversions.
A new 27,000 square feet factory situated ‘next door’ to their current site in Telford, Shropshire has been purchased and initial work has been completed on ground-clearing to provide a new enlarged secure vehicle compound.
Qi’s managing director Roland Preece announced: “These are very exciting times for the company and this important investment in its future demonstrates a huge commitment to our customers.
“Our current factory facilities are shared 50-50 between manufacturing and vehicle conversions. The new base will be used solely for our fleet vehicle projects.
“We have invested over £50,000 alone in the area of vehicle compounds and have now achieved The National Security Inspectorate ‘Gold Certificate of Compliance’, a true accolade for our efforts.
