Avis and Arval join forces in used vehicle deal

Avis and Arval have joined forces to resell their used vehicles on MotorTrade, the internet platform developed by Arval. Together they will release over 180,000 used cars into the European market every year.

The partnership will enable car dealers to access an extended offer of used vehicles on the same platform.

The Arval group developed MotorTrade in order to facilitate direct sales of vehicles to car dealers. Operational since 2009, MotorTrade is already available in France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Russia, Turkey and the United Kingdom. Roll-out is planned shortly in ten other countries in Europe and also further afield in Brazil, India and Morocco.

“This partnership is a first in our industry and the pooling of our offers brings a unique choice to car dealers. Already launched in France, the partnership will be gradually extended to our other European subsidiaries” said Alexander Loucopoulos, Avis France fleet director.
