Pendragon Contracts goes daily for Hewden

Hewden, the national, multi-product hire specialist, is extending its contract hire agreement with Pendragon Contracts with the provision of daily hire vehicles.

Working in partnership with Europcar, Pendragon Contracts will supply a variety of vehicles via the industry-leading, web-based service ‘Carhirebooker’. Customers simply log onto their individual client account and order the vehicle they desire. The service is also supported by a telephone helpdesk at Pendragon Contracts to deal with specialist enquiries.

In addition, a further bespoke Hewden branded website enables Hewden’s customers with short term vehicle requirements to arrange vehicle hire incorporating a ‘damage liability waiver’ rather than using their company insurance.

Chris Thornley, purchasing manager of Hewden, says: “Pendragon Contracts continues to demonstrate its market-leading services allowing Hewden to extend and add greater value to our own client offering. The provision of daily hire complements our existing arrangement with the leasing company for contract hire vehicles, and ensures we are flexible and competitively priced to the benefit of our end customers.”

Neal Francis, managing director of Pendragon Contracts, adds: “Hewden has already realised considerable added value benefits and efficiencies through the service offered by Pendragon Contracts so we are confident that the daily hire provision will continue to enhance its business proposition and brand reputation.”
